The first one! I’m writing to you now as I’m developing this site. It’s been a big project but a really satisfying one, and I’ve learned a lot along the way. Technically I guess this is my first web dev project, which is weird but I guess not unexpected since I usually work more in the realm of bit-twiddling at the register level than writing markdown.
I’m hoping that this blog can serve as a place for me to share longer-form thoughts about current events, project updates, shoutouts to projects I find, that sort of thing. It’ll be pretty informal on here- frankly I can’t be bothered to tailor and edit this thing, so it’ll likely be pretty raw most of the time. That’s the point though, if I’m honest- I want to share what’s on my mind in a more complete way than the former-bird-app-that-shall-not-be-named allows.
So yeah! I can’t say I know what’s gonna be going on here in the future, but there’s the plan for now! If you think that’s terrible, kindly shove it- this is my site and I do what I want.
